This morning I got the news that I’m one of the 5 finalists for the 2017 APRA Professional Development Awards! A huge honour which I’m proud to share with a group of incredibly talented composers. It’s great to see women so strongly represented amongst the finalists this year, each of us with a unique voice and a determination to use it to tell stories that matter. This is more than a career, it’s a calling, and every day I get to follow it further is truly a gift. Thank you so much to APRA AMCOS for running this fantastic award which gives composers the chance to take big steps forward in advancing their careers and generating new connections and opportunities for the future.
