I was the co-writer and singer of “By the Boab Tree” from Baz Luhrmann’s 2008 film “Australia”. The song was shortlisted for an Academy Award in 2009, and was nominated for several other national and international awards, including an APRA-AGSC Screen Music Award, and a Satellite Award in the US.
